Nice these 5 concepts. A library can rock. It's just who is running them. You should also check out the famous Library of DOK in Delft, the Netherlands. That's a really awesome futurefit library in Europe. Really Great. The guys running that are winning all kind of awards.

Currently I use my Library all the time, from the internet. They subscribe to services that are off limits to the public but all I have to do is login to their website and wallah, I have access. Not sure if it's a sustainable method of growth but it certainly serves a great purpose today.
